Un informaticien norvégien de 22 ans répondant au nom de Jon Lech Johansen aurait réussi à cracker la protection d’iTunes et par la même permis la copie du contenu provenant d’iTunes sur d’autres baladeurs que le iPod.
Il travaille pour la société DoubleTwist Ventures qui prévoit de commercialiser cette solution rendant compatibles les différents médias numériques du marché.
Le système fait croire à iTunes que le baladeur connecté est un iPod. Quand vous souhaitez copier du contenu provenant d’une autre source qu’iTunes, il fait croire au iPod que le contenu vient d’iTunes.
Pas plus d’infos sur leur site malheureusement. En tout cas, sachez que ce jeune homme a un sacré passé dans le crackage de protection .

Il est quand même regrettable que l’interopérabilité de tous ces systèmes (logiciels + lecteurs) doive se faire par la force 🙁 . Les DRM n’ont aucun avenir, aucun système ne tient plus de quelques mois, quel que soit le contenu. Le jour où Apple, Microsoft et les autres auront compris ça … mais bon ce n’est pas demain la veille … :-/

Quelqu’un s’est-il déjà amusé à utiliser WireTap PRO avec Itunes: c’est fou ce que ça peut faire ces petites choses là.
