Destruction/Creation de Chris Sabbler

Inspiré par les travaux d’Alberto Seveso, l’artiste Sud-africain Chris Slabber a créé une spectaculaire série de tableaux intitulés Destruction/Creation à partir de spirales de peintures colorées auxquelles il a ajouté d’exquises figures féminines. Selon lui, l’idée qui se cache derrière cette série était de montrer que la création vient de la destruction. En tombant, la peinture se construit en même temps qu’elle se détruit.

Inspired by the works of Alberto Seveso, the South African artist Chris Slabber has created a spectacular series called Destruction/Creation designed from colorful spirals paintings which he added exquisite female figures. According to him, the idea behind this series was to show that creation comes from destruction. While falling, the painting is built at the same time it’s destroyed.
