Une fois n’est pas coutume, un certain nombre d’applications malveillantes ont été repéré sur Android. Au nombre de 101, ces applications proviennent toutes d’un seul et même réseau de 27 développeurs provenant du Vietnam, comme le révèle une enquête signée CyberNews. Au total, celles-ci ont été installées sur près de 69 millions d’appareils tournant sous Android – tablettes et smartphones – si bien qu’il y a des chances qu’une ou plusieurs d’entres elles se trouvent sur votre appareil.
Pourquoi les désinstaller de toute urgence ? Selon l’enquête de CyberNews, toutes ces applications demanderaient des permissions poussées sur votre appareil, lesquelles permettraient par la suite de siphonner un certain nombre de vos données personnelles, jusqu’à vos photos et vidéos, et même votre localisation. Les permissions seraient en contradiction avec le but même de certaines apps, comme dans l’exemple d’une application de calculatrice qui accède à vos photos, note CyberNews. La recommandation à suivre est donc de lire scrupuleusement les détails d’une demande de permission par une application à l’avenir, afin d’éviter les déconvenues. Ces données collectées servent par la suite à inonder l’utilisateur de publicités ciblées. Ces 101 applications, qui proviennent aussi bien du Play Store de Google que d’APK dénichés sur le web, restent peut-être présentes sur vos appareils. On ne saurait trop vous conseiller de les désinstaller de toute urgence, afin d’éviter toute déconvenue. Voici la liste de toutes ces apps :
